I had a great time this past weekend in the socal, thanks to Mike D for letting me crash on his couch. It a second car related trip to socal in three weeks. After seeing how guys do it in socal, gave me a different perspective on the style of tuning they have down there. Not even sure how i can explain it, its just different.

Went to Hella Flush on Saturday, there were a lot of wrx's and evo's, but quite a few different RWD platforms. Super slammed, and low offsets.. Probably my favorite car was this light blue IS350 on TE37's, it was hotness. Took my pics and got work done, started chatting up with these 2 other guys, they thought me and mike were organizing the event, along with many others (blame mikes "Hella Flush" shirt), but anyways they made the trip all the way from New Jersey for hella flush, and Eibach. I thought I made a far trip from Corcal! Anyways chatted them up about the scene, comparing right from left coasts. Its always nice meeting new people, who are passionate about the same things you're into. AFter snapping pics me and mike walked down Venice beach looking for food, we walked all the way to the Santa Monica Pier like a mile away. That + walking around the meet, and squatting for the pics, really did a number on our legs.

Met Jon Wong down there, and we had dinner with them. Went to this Japanese place next to super autobacs, it was pretty good, defiantly gonna go back there when i visit autobacs again.

Sunday, we got a late start, me and Mike were pretty tired from the adventures of the day before. Got out of the house like an hour and a half late. Got some mickey D's and sammiches at Vons and we were on our way. Oh yea the McCafe ice mocha, did a number on my stomach.. It made for some moments during the day.. LOL

Drove out to Corona for Eibach, too much disappointment, the first car i saw was that purple EF leaving.. Its that EF that I jock Super hard. Anyways Eibach was pimp, it was like a Honda Mecca. For sure it was the sickest meet i've been to as of late. Alot of nice super clean cars, with hella neck breaker status.. Definitely
Gonna go again..

OH yea.. so after Eibach we went to Daikokuya Ramen aka crack noodles. It was soo good, better than i Remember!

Last part of my adventure, so i was waiting for my plane which was delayed. Just chilling, watching Pursuit of Function to wind down the trip, and i start hearing a freight train, thought it was just a plane. Then i hear the jetway slamming up and down, then i start feeling it, i am like omfg Earthquake! 5 seconds into it, i am like F this ( as i was sitting next to the window) i grabbed my gear, and ran away from the window and towards the pillars. Most people stayed where they were, iono if it was survival mode kicking in, or i am a pansy. But the only other guy that did the same was this black guy. There were a few aftershocks after, but not too bad. I hit up usgs.gov via my iphone, to find out it was like a 5.0 2 miles away... yea that was the biggest quake i felt in awhile..

Enough of my rambling here are some pics.
